Hi All,
I have teamed up with my dear friend, mentor and colleague, Cathy Ahia for what we feel will be a fun, informative and unique way to understanding this mid life time. Our goal is to empower women with education on lifestyle habits that will insure personal health, beauty and well being, thereby creating a synergy within the body, mind and spirit.
I look forward to working with you all in the coming years.

Managing Mid-Life Transitions
Relationships are changing, parents are aging or gone, memory sucks, body is failing, teenagers have left, adult children want to come back. What the hell is going on?
Navigating the changes occurring at this stage of life can be a blessing or a curse. Mid life is different for everyone but this is the time to redefine and recreate this 2nd half of your life journey.
We have come together with knowledge, wisdom and education to share our experiences, realizing if we had a road map this journey would have been smoother, calmer, and less fearful. We have spent the last 10-15 years doing research: gathering information, attending seminars & retreats, reading incredible books, and having conversation and dialogue with learned teachers. Sharing what we have learned, these class will offer you tools and information to help you achieve personal growth, joy, and a more peaceful, meaningful existence.
I find Belinda's wit and style in the teaching arena to be easy to understand, intuitive, and insightful. She has been a great mentor and is very fun to work with. You will love learning from her.

I have worked with both Belinda and Cathy for over 10 years. I will continue to work with them as I always learn something new. My own personal growth is very important to me, but the best part is how much fun I have working with them. ~

About Belinda
For over 20 years, I have been passionately involved in health and beauty as a Licensed Cosmetology,
Certified Health Educator and owner of a full service salon located in the small beach community of Dana Point, California. Seminars, Hands on workshops, and continual classes in skin, hair and health keep me informed of the most current trends and research in my profession. My philosophy is to empower women with education on lifestyle habits that will insure personal health, beauty and well being thereby creating a synergy within the body, mind and spirit. Yearning to feel a sense of serenity and well being within, I have spent the last 15 years struggling to answer the question,
What am I suppose to being doing here? At this stage of my journey, I have experienced many of what are considered to be, the top stressors of emotional health. Death of a spouse, divorce, children with issues ranging from learning disabilities to drug addictions, care giving and death of 2 parents, along with the everyday stressors of being a woman in mid-life. In a quest for healing my heart and recognizing I am worthy of creating the life I deserve and desire I work each and every day to live in the present moment. While remembering whatever happened yesterday is done and whatever comes tomorrow is a blessing, whether I think so at the moment or not. I am grateful for the experiences I have had knowing that without them I would not be who I am today, a kinder, gentler person, giving full trust to the universe that I am exactly where I am suppose to be.
About Cathy
Hi, my name is Cathy Young Ahia. This idea of midlife transitions has been with me since I came into my early 40’s. I started asking questions, reading books, attending seminars. I was already aware of changes that were taking place in my life that I did not seem to have answers for. My mother had died at that time, my children were getting ready to launch their lives with college and marriages. Asthe co-owner and manager of a salon, I was in constant contact with other women, listening to their stories, both struggles and, joys. My undergraduate degree had been in psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies . This led me to training as a Career Counselor at the Women’s Oportunity Center located on the campus of the University of California , Irvine. In working with women thru this remarkable program I knew it was time to reevaluate my own career and to decide what I wanted from this next stage in my life. I returned to Graduate School, and completed my Masters Degree in Psychology and For me psychology truly meant the study of the psyche or soul. Now my job is to combine my knowledge, my experience and my desire to seek out answers and share this with other women. I maintain that I learn as much from those I have worked with as they may learn from me. We are all unique individuals, with stories to share.
